Looked again and again and cannot see where I suggested that Redleg does not know how to inspect a firearm. Geez, try to be a nice guy, ya know?

A very big mistake Kid. It's unfortunate because I really liked this gun for 11 months and trully believed I was one of the lucky ones. Then one day WHAMMO! It has a new home now. In a land far, far away....

Scroll back down to Redleg's post. Redleg, have you looked at the frame just above the trigger? I was certain that my INOX was fine, but decided to look at the problem area. Discovered the infamous crack.

Remove the slide and look at the frame. You may be in for a surprise.

I have less than 50 rounds thru mine and no trouble yet. Since I fire it so infrequently, I'm afraid it may be years before this criack problem shows up. Maybe I should get rid of it.

What's a hardly used Tomcat w/laser going for?

Doriadiver, Did they offer any explanation of improvement, better materials, redesign, etc? Or did they just send you a fixed/replaced pistol and a blessing of "good luck?"

Got a new replacement back from Beretta on a Thursday, sold it on Friday. I will not carry this gun. This from a Big Beretta Fan. I have 3 other Berettas that I love! However this gun is a DOG and the way Beretta has handled the entire situation is criminal.

I think we have it! redleg's gun was made over 13 years ago. I wonder if the manufacturing plant has moved or they have changed materials or design? My gun was made in the US. Was yours? I think you somehow have a different gun, lucky for you.
